The alarm clock that morning didn't sound like every day. It had a fifferent kind of beep, or maybe it was just you who were different. You washed your face and looked at your own reflection in the mirror.*I can't go on this way. Something's gotta change soon or I'll go crazy*.You sighed. *I need a change of scenery. Now you didn't feel like talking to anyone else but your supervisor in L.A. Taking your cell phone from your purse, you dialed his number and asked him for a transfer. He wasn't very keen on the idea, but promised to phone back as soon as he got news on a new project that was going to take place in Tokyo. If one of his best workers asked him for a transfer, it must be for a good reason...No sooner said than done, a couple of hours later your supervisor phoned back with all the details, and he gave you a reference number so you could pick up your plane ticket at the airport for a flight to Tokyo tomorrow morning. The project had a duration of three weeks.
